LA Art Book Fair

Identity and full signage system for the inaugural LA Art Book Fair—Printed Matter's expansion to the West Coast and companion event to the NY Art Book Fair. 220 exhibitors from 21 countries filled the 40,000-square-foot Geffen Contemporary in Little Tokyo over four days. More than 15,000 attended, with nearly 2,600 at the opening night preview alone, breaking records set by the New York fair. Special projects highlighted Mike Kelley and Larry Clark, with a dedicated Zine World section and exhibitions on skate publishing, zine pioneers, and LA-based artist Christopher Russell.
